This Pin-Safety NWS is used in the AIRBUS A350 & A380 aircraft. These bypass pins are used to bypass the aircraft’s hydraulic steering system, allowing the pushback tug to have full control over steering. These bypass pins are generally inserted into the aircraft’s hydraulic steering system during towing and maintenance phases.
